The course contents as well as all further information about the course "Technische Mechanik 2" in winter semester 2023/24 can be accessed via the "Moodle Course".

Learning objectives

TM II" initially builds on "TM I" and extends load capacity verifications and the calculation of deformations to spatially two-dimensional structures such as sheet metal or thin-walled cylinders ("boilers"). With the fundamentals of kinematics and kinetics, the relationships between forces and rigid-body motions of kinematic systems are then covered, as well as the fundamentals of vibration theory.

Implementation

Cycle: Winter semester

The module consists of a weekly lecture and a weekly tutorial. The offer is supplemented by weekly "exam preparation courses", in which you are supposed to work out independent approaches and solve tasks independently, whereby assistance is always given on our part. Form of examination
