Dear Students,

Dear Readers,

We are pleased to welcome you to the website of the GAMM Junior Research Group! About us

We are an association which is formed by the Association of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (GAMM). For information regarding our activities, we warmly invite you to have a look at the other pages of this website. The consulation hour will be held by members of the student chapter who are currently working on their doctoral thesis.Different disciplines will be represented by the mentors who are in different phases of their doctorate. For the 4th consultation hour, the following mentors will be pleased to answer all your questions:

  • Jonas Dünnebacke, mathematics, research assistant since 04/2019
  • Klas Feike, mechanical engineering, research assistant since 04/2023      and
  • Marius Harnisch, mechanical engineering, research assistant since 12/2020

We are all employed at TU Dortmund University of Technology, so our expertise focuses on a doctorate at the university in the field of applied mathematics and mechanics and not necessarily on other funding options, such as an industrial doctorate. Of course, you can still ask all the questions that come to mind - we just might not be able to answer all of them.

Otherwise, click through the contacts to find out more about us and what we do. We will then be happy to clarify everything else in the consultation hour - quite casually and without obligation. It doesn't matter if you already have concrete plans, want to ask certain questions or just want to obtain some information. You are all cordially invited!
